 - Log into your Jira instance as an admin.
 - Click the admin dropdown and choose Add-ons.
 - Locate Slick.
 - Click Install to download and install your app.

Once installed you have to define your project configuration.
Please make sure that you have filled your backlog and that you have created your first sprint.

 - Select Slick - Configuration on the left-hand menu.
 - You will prompted to enter three values:
     - TRR Value: your estimated budget ( in hours )
     - H. Point value: how much do you think a sprint point should be worth ( in hours )
     - Sprint: select via the dropdown the sprint you want to assign the values entered.
If your budget change during the devlopment, you can come back here and enter new values valid from the beginning of another sprint.

Work on your project and track the time for each story. Slick can work with the popular plugin Tempo timesheets.

Once you've closed a sprint go under Slick - Analysis.
There you will see a table with the following data:

 - Sprint: the sprint which the data refer to.
 - Budget: the value of your investment, in hours.

 - Total time: the total time spent ( in hours ) during the development of the all accepted stories.
 - Sprint accepted points: the points of the stories that has been considered accepted in the sprint.
 - Sprint total time:  the total time spent ( in hours ) during the development of the accepted stories of the current sprint.
 - Cost to budget index: i

 - Effort to Budget index: identifies the sales estimation error. It allows to evaluate the difference between the sales department estimate and the team’s estimate.
 - Team overall Effort index: identifies the team performance.  Evaluate the relationship between the real value and the nominal value of a point.

At the end of each sprint you will find in this section the updated data.

How to read the data

Slick provides a graph that helps to visualise the project status.
The graph shows the value of the Cost to budget index. The CB index is the main index and its value could be greater, equal or less than one.

 Case CB less than 1:

If the value of the CB index is less than 1 it means that your project is healthy.

Case CB more than 1:

If the value of the CB index is more than 1 it means that your project status is in danger.
